Oh No, It's NaNo!
Are you NaNoing this year? NaNo is National Novel Writing Month, an annual online event in which writers from all over the world simultaneously write 50,000 words. This is my first time. We're supposed to just write and write and write with no editing, but as I understand it the rules are somewhat flexible which is good because I'm actually working on my second book, already in progress from last spring when I divided my first book into two. If you're NaNoing feel free to add me as your friend on the official NaNo site, and let me know your name so I can add you as mine. That way we can support each other and see each others' progress as the month goes on. MyNaNo name is pollykahl and I hope you'll let me know yours. Registration is free, it's a great way to join in on some great writing energy, and I think there are even prizes. NaNo 2008, here we come!

I've never done it. I've only ever gotten to the thinking stage of it.

Yay! I'm sort of excited! Yet, I'm not sure it's actually a real thing to be excited about, or cyber reality. Nah, we'll have written words to show for it. It's real.
You're already my NaNo buddy whether you like it or not!
I'm having problems with the NaNo site, so I haven't been able to make you my Buddy back. The site is so congested that it's too slow to navigate. I did finally find some fellow memoirists though, so I'll be hnging out with them besides my Buddies. Well, so far, my Buddy - you!
No nano fo me.
Too focused on my own thing.
But it does look like fun. Maybe next year.
