NaNo Neener Neener

Well, so far NaNo is a big bust. I registered but haven't been able to navigate the site because it's overloaded with users. I see on some writers' discussion boards that this has happened in years past, so I'm going to wait a couple of days and then try again. Meanwhile I have invited my friend Robin in having our very own RobinPollyWritersMonth. Let me know if you want to RoPo with us.

I'm not sure there really IS a NaNo. I think someone just stole the name from that old Mork and Mindy show. Isn't that what Mork used to say to Mindy, before he sat on his head on the chair? NaNoNaNo.

RoPo rules! At least our friggin' website works.

It sure as h- is what Mork said! I loved it when he put his head on the chair. It was a whole lot better than making us all into pod people.

Thank you,Polly. Mork and Mindy was always my first thought during NaNo. It may have been why I haven't had the personal courage or commitment to NaNo. Or I'm just lazy. I'll give this RoPo some thought as the other night I had an idea for a fantasy novel.

Leah, you're welcome to join us for RoPo any time. How does RoPoLe sound? (Now it sounds like an Italian dish. Stromboli, ravioli, ropoli...)

I gave it some thought. And a fair bit of writing. I'm all for a big dish of RoPoLe.
What do we do?

Three-way emailing between Le, Ro and Po. Or Ro, Po and Le. Or Po, Le and Ro. Oh well, anyway you look at it, it's a great idea.
